11 Minutes of the meeting held on 14 August 2019
11.1 The Committee approved as a correct record the minutes of the meeting held on 14 August 2019.

13 Wood recycling operations. Holly Woodshavings, Squires Farm Industrial Estate, Office 1 Palehouse Common, Framfield TN22 5RB - WD/820/CM
13.1 The application had been withdrawn following publication of the agenda, so was not considered by the Committee.
14 Lewes District Parking Review 2018/19
14.1 The Committee considered a report by the Director of Communities, Economy and Transport.
14.2 Ms Padma Navarro spoke against the recommendation to uphold the objections in respect of Site 1 (Clare Road, Lewes).
14.3 The following people spoke against the recommendation not to uphold the objections to the revocation of the 2007 traffic orders contained in the draft Traffic Regulation Order: Mr Gerard O’Clarey and Ms Kate Craig.
14.4 Councillor O’Keeffe, the Local Member for Lewes spoke about the following elements of the draft Order: Site 1 (Clare Road), Site 5 (Baxter Road), Site 6 (The Gallops), Site 13 (St Swithuns Terrace) and the revocation of the 2007 traffic orders.
14.5 The Committee considered the written comments of Councillor Phillip Daniel the Local Member for Ringmer and Lewes Bridge, in respect of Site 15 (St John’s Terrace).
14.6 Members have considered the report, together with the comments of the public speakers and Local Members. Motions to amend recommendations 1, 2 and 3 were proposed, seconded and agreed.
14.7 The Committee RESOLVED to (1) not uphold the objections to the draft Order as set out in Appendix 1 of the report;
(2) not uphold the objections to the draft Order as set out in Appendix 2 of the report, with the exception of Site 7 (Central Avenue, Telscombe Cliffs) where the objections to the draft Order are upheld;
(3) defer consideration of whether or not to uphold the objections to the proposed revocation of the 2007 Traffic Regulation Orders as set out in paragraph 15 of Appendix 2 of the report; and
(4) recommend to the Director of Communities, Economy and Transport that the Traffic Regulation Order be made in part.
